Below are some pictures of our house. We will keep new pictures coming as we do work on the house and make changes.
Note the Palm tree in the center of the left picture and without it on the right. The fireplace to the right of the tree is also gone.
Here is the before and after for the side yard palm tree. This really opened up the driveway a lot.
Here is the last palm tree we will be taking down and the logs from the others.
On December 22nd we had new front windows installed. We think they made a big difference, what do you think?

As you can see there is a lot of work to do on the house and cottage but we have plenty of time to do it.

The back deck is now getting a railing so that we can let Abby out with us without being tied.
The cottage does not need a lot of work but it is not a top priority now

Inside and outside of the kitchen window removal, day 1

Day 3 of the Kitchen remodel, another day of upper cabinet removal.
Day 4 of the Kitchen remodel, the last day of upper cabinet removal.

Day 6 brought the rest of the uppers and removal of the lowers and the dishwasher.
Day 7 saw the first appliance be installed, the microwave, and the floor underlayment along the cabinets.
As we expected we found some damage to the floor which we repaired before putting down the backer board.
Lost track of the days and also took a day off to goto the Florida State Fair in Tampa. Since we got back we have made
quite a bit of progress and the project is winding down. Only half of the cabinets are being done plus all the appliances.
The other half and the floor will be done later this year.
After the microwave came the stove, the dishwasher, the refridgerator and the sink. Revamping the electrical will also
be done in the first phase.
Now on to the electrical and the backsplash!!!!
